At the initiative and with the support of the Judicial-Legal Council and the Ministry of Justice, judges from several appeal and first-instance courts took part in a training visit to the city of Halle, Germany, on 16–21 November 2025. The purpose of the trip was to improve their knowledge of legal German, to acquire relevant practical skills, and to study international experience.
The training was conducted by the specialized instructor and expert Michael Wilding, based on a special program designed for judges. In addition, the judges visited Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, where Professor Azer Aliyev provided them with detailed information about the history of the university, the organization of education, and the teaching process.
Within the framework of the visit, the judges also visited the Naumburg Higher Regional Court (Naumburg Oberlandesgericht) and the Leipzig Federal Administrative Court (Leipzig Bundesverwaltungsgericht), where they attended court hearings.
