Information of the Judicial Selection Committee

As part of the measures taken to improve the judicial activity, the continuous selection of candidates for the position of judgeship continues in transparent conditions and on the basis of objective criteria.

A written exam was held on February 9, 2025, with 207 candidates who passed the test exam within the framework of the next phase of the judicial selection, in the electronic examination building of the State Examination Center.

Before the exam, the Judges' Selection Committee prepared case-type questions on criminal and civil cases for use in the exam in a closed session in the same building and immediately brought them to the exam hall. The candidates randomly selected one question related to criminal case and one to civil case from among those questions.

In the 4-hour exam, the candidates for judgeship demonstrated their ability to reveal the essence of the relevant law as fully as possible and explain it. Necessary conditions were created for them to be able to express the concept of the law.

The exam process was highly appreciated by observers as a transparent procedure.

It should be noted that the anonymized answer sheets will be evaluated using a double-checking method and the results will be announced soon.

At the same time, the Judicial Selection Committee states that the acceptance of documents from candidates for judges is underway. Lawyers who wish to become judges can submit their relevant documents.
