Chairman of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court Hafiz Nasibov paid a visit to Georgia

On March 12-14, 2025, a delegation led by the Chairman of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hafiz Nasibov paid a visit to Georgia.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia and the Supreme Council of Justice Nino Kadagidze. During the meeting brought to the attention of the close friendship and strategic relations between our countries, the importance of expanding cooperation between judicial bodies and exchanging experience in this direction was emphasized.
Then, a meeting was held with the Chairman and members of the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Georgia, and views were exchanged on judicial reforms, current judicial practice and topical issues in this area, including the application of measures of intersection.
During the visit, meetings were also held in the Tbilisi and Rustavi city courts. The delegation participated in court proceedings related to the application of the intersection measure of bail and the consideration of cases on the approval of the procedural agreement between the prosecution and defense parties.
