A Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between the Judicial-Legal Council of the Republiac of Azerbaijan and the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On October 29, 2025, a delegation led by Dmitriy Malakhov, Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who was on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Greeting the guests, Inam Karimov, Chairman of the Supreme Court and the Judicial-Legal Council of Azerbaijan, emphasized that the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan is successfully developing in all areas, including the judicial and legal sphere.

The guests were provided with detailed information about the judicial and legal reforms implemented in Azerbaijan, the innovations introduced in this field, and the activities of the Supreme Court. It was noted that deepening cooperation between the two countries in the judicial field, organizing joint seminars and training programs, as well as implementing experience exchange initiatives, makes an important contribution to the development of future collaboration.

Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council of Kazakhstan Dmitriy Malakhov expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and stated that strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in the fields of law and justice would serve to enhance the efficiency of both countries’ judicial systems.

Within the framework of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the Judicial-Legal Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The document aims to improve the administration of justice, expand cooperation, and deepen relations between the judicial bodies of the two states.

After the signing ceremony, the guests were acquainted with the administrative building of the Supreme Court.
