The next meeting of the Judicial-Legal Council was held

On October 30, 2024 the next meeting of the Judicial Council was held.

During the speech at the meeting, Chairman of the Council Inam Karimov presented brief information on the measures taken in the judiciary field in recent times and stressed that today practical measures are being taken in our country to improve the judiciary system and bring it in conformity with international standards, and the legislative base regulating the activity in this field is being fundamentally updated.

At the same time, it was pointed out that personnel reforms, the appointment of new judges to the Supreme Court and the Courts of Appeal, and the formation of a professional corps of judges will make an important contribution to the quality and efficiency improvement of justice.

At the meeting, relevant decisions were taken by considering the cases of disciplinary proceedings, evaluation of judges' performance and personnel issues.

Later, the retiring judges were awarded with an honorary decree for their significant contribution to the improvement of the efficiency of justice through their activity in the court system for many years.
