The next meeting of the Judicial Legal Council was held

On February 17, 2026, the next meeting of the Judicial Legal Council  was held.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Council, Inam Karimov, stated that, in order to efficiently form the new generation of the judicial corps, the selection processes for judicial candidates are continuing in transparent and improved stages.

The meeting also considered a report from the Selection Committee of Judges. The Committee’s Chairman, Vidadi Jafarov, provided detailed information regarding the process of selecting candidates for judicial office.

Subsequently, individual interviews were conducted with the 34 candidates who successfully completed the competition. They were given recommendations, and it was decided to prepare proposals for their appointment as judges of first-instance courts.

In addition, discussions were held on draft projects prepared by the Apparatus of the Judicial Legal Council regarding court activities. The designs and samples of judges’ service cards and the official emblem of the Judicial Legal Council were approved.
