A meeting of the Judicial and Legal Council was held

On March 18, 2025, the next meeting of the Judicial-Legal Council was held.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Judicial-Legal Council, Inam Karimov, provided detailed information on the work done. It was noted that currently, in order to quickly recruit a new generation of judges, the selection processes for candidates for judges are continuing in transparent and improved stages.

The meeting also considered the appeal of the Judges' Election Committee. The Chairman of the Committee, Vidadi Jafarov, presented information on the process of selecting candidates for the position of judge.

Then, individual interviews were held with 38 candidates for judges who successfully completed the competition, recommendations were given to them, and finally, it was decided to prepare proposals for their appointment to the positions of judges of first instance courts.

At the same time, the judges who were sent off to retirement were awarded honorary diplomas for their significant contribution to increasing the efficiency of justice through their activities in the judicial system for many years.

Then, current issues, including the initiation of disciplinary proceedings against judges, were considered and relevant decisions were made.
