The next meeting of the Judicial Selection Committee was held on May 21, 2025.
The next meeting of the Judicial Selection Committee was held on May 21, 2025.

It was noted at the meeting that the Judicial Selection Committee conducted an oral exam with 75 candidates for judges who passed the written exam.

In order to create equal opportunities for candidates and ensure objectivity, the relevant questions were prepared by the Committee members immediately before the exam and in the auditorium where the exam was held.

During the exam, the candidates were asked 5 questions in accordance with the "Rules for the Selection of Non-Judge Candidates for Vacant Judicial Positions" and each of them answered these questions within the specified time. During the oral exam, the candidates were asked questions that determined their theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of law, as well as their ability to draw logical conclusions.

According to the rules, a psychologist participated in the exams. The psychologist involved in the exam does not participate in the assessment of the candidate, but only provides an opinion on his psychological portrait. This opinion is informative and does not affect the results of the exam.

According to the results of the exam, 48 candidates for judges who scored 60 or more points will be involved in the training course. According to the rules, the list of candidates who successfully passed the exams and were sent to the training courses is published in the media and on the Internet, indicating only their personal identification code.

Within the framework of the training course, candidates will be prepared for judicial activity, modern judicial and legal reforms, ethical behavior of judges, the fight against corruption, human rights, international law norms, as well as topics related to disputes and other topical issues that are most common in judicial practice will be taught with the participation of influential judges and experts, and they will also undergo internships in relevant courts. It is also planned that candidates will learn advanced practice abroad.

The training course will begin on May 26.

At the same time, it was reported that the acceptance of documents of candidates for judges continues and more than 150 candidates have already submitted their documents to participate in the test exam to be held on September 21, 2025. Considering the limited number of places, the Judiciary Selection Committee invites those who wish to become judges to participate more actively in the competition.
