Information from the Selection Committee of Judges

On February 13, 2026, a meeting of the Selection Committee of Judges was held.

It was noted at the meeting that, in accordance with the new rules, interviews were conducted for the first time with candidates for judgeship who had successfully passed the test and written examinations.

During the interviews, candidates were asked questions designed to assess both their theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of law, as well as their ability to draw logical conclusions. The evaluation also covered their ability to apply knowledge, self-presentation skills, general worldview, composure, capacity to express opinions, and analytical thinking. The Committee assessed the candidates’ possession of qualities necessary for judicial service. As a result, 34 candidates successfully passed the interview, and the Committee submitted its assessments regarding their suitability for judicial office, including recommendations on specialization, to the Judicial Legal Council.

In accordance with the legislation, on February 17, 2026, the Council will conduct interviews and determine specialization with the candidates.

Under the new rules, upon appointment as judges, candidates will immediately participate in professional training organized at the Academy of Justice of the Ministry of Justice to ensure their practical preparation for judicial service.
