Judicial candidates training at the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan paid a training visit to Azerbaijan

From December 1 to 12 of the current year, training sessions on various topics were delivered by Azerbaijani judges to 30 judicial candidates undergoing training at the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of the training, participants were taught topics related to the independence and organization of judicial activity, various branches of law, legal writing skills, as well as judicial ethics.

In addition to the training sessions, the candidates visited the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Baku Court of Appeal, the Yasamal District Court of Baku, and the Sumgait Court Complex to familiarize themselves with court proceedings and to observe the work of the courts on site. As part of the visit, participants were also provided with detailed information on the functional capabilities of the “Electronic Court” information system.

Overall, the training visit made an important contribution to further strengthening judicial and legal cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, facilitating the exchange of advanced national and international best practices in this field, and supporting the professional development of judicial candidates.
