On March 6, 2026, a presentation ceremony of the textbook “Justice Law” was held at the Baku Court of Appeal. The publication is devoted to the study of various theoretical and practical aspects of justice in Azerbaijan.

The book covers topics such as the essence of justice, recent judicial and legal reforms, as well as the prospects for the application of information technologies, digitalization, and artificial intelligence systems in this field. In addition, it explains the general and specific institutional and procedural guarantees of the right to a fair trial, the judicial system of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the legal status of judges and other participants in court proceedings, as well as the status and areas of activity of the Judicial Legal Council of Azerbaijan. The book is intended not only for students but also for judges, lawyers, law enforcement officers, researchers, and other individuals interested in this field.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Head of the Apparatus of the Judicial Legal Council of Azerbaijan, Karam Mansurov, emphasized the scientific, academic, and practical significance of the textbook:
“The presented textbook is distinguished by the fact that, alongside the theoretical foundations of the administration of justice, it also provides a comprehensive analysis of current issues such as modern judicial reforms, digitalization, and the application of new technologies in the judicial system. This significantly enhances the academic and practical value of the publication.”

Co-author of the textbook, Chair of the Department of Criminal Procedure at Baku State University, Firuza Abbasova, noted that the book consists of seven chapters. In her speech, she highlighted that the branches of government operate in interaction with one another and emphasized the importance of adhering to the rule of law in all circumstances.

Another author, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Law at National Aviation Academy of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Law and Professor Ayxan Rustamzada, stressed the importance of cooperation between academic and practical fields. He noted that the publication of the textbook “Justice Law” is the result of such cooperation. It was stated that the book was published within the framework of a memorandum signed between the National Aviation Academy of Azerbaijan and the Judicial Legal Council of Azerbaijan. He also informed that a series of meetings between scholars and judges is planned within the framework of this cooperation. Such meetings are intended to further strengthen the connection between theoretical knowledge and judicial practice.

Emphasizing the support provided by the Judicial Legal Council of Azerbaijan in this direction, the author noted that the institution consistently supports academic initiatives and facilitates the involvement of judges in the educational process.

Another author of the book, Doctor of Law Fardin Khalilov, stated that the publication also includes certain issues open for discussion. According to him, the book proposes that the status of the Judicial Legal Council of Azerbaijan be enshrined at the constitutional level in the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Later, Anar Tanriverdiyev, Chairman of the Yasamal District Court, and Faiq Qaniyev, Judge of the Baku Court of Appeal, highly appreciated the meeting. They emphasized the importance of preparing proposals aimed at eliminating existing gaps in legislation and noted the necessity of further strengthening cooperation between scholars and judges in this field.
