A seminar within the framework of the “2025 Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty” was held at Ganja City Court
27.09.2025On September 26, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Judicial and Legal Council organized a regional seminar in Ganja with the participation of up to 50 court staff members within the framework of the “2025 Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty”.
Before the event, the seminar participants paused for a minute of silence in honor of our martyrs who lost their lives in the Patriotic War on September 27 - Memorial Day. Speaking, the Chairman of the Ganja City Court, Khagani Tagiyev, noted that the announcement of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty” in our country has made a significant contribution to the further development of our statehood traditions. The moderator of the seminar, Deputy Head of the Apparatus of the Judicial and Legal Council, Rashad Hasanli, noted the importance of the event in terms of legal education and raising legal culture.
Then, the Chairman of the Shirvan Court of Appeal, Vali Abdullayev, delivered reports on the topics of “Our first national Constitution, authored by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as a political-legal act and historical document”, and the Head of the Department of the Academy of Justice, Doctor of Laws, Matanat Askerova, delivered reports on the topics of “The Honorable Path to Sovereignty: A New and Powerful Azerbaijan under the Leadership of President Ilham Aliyev”.
The Head of the Sector of the Supreme Court Apparatus, Doctor of Laws, Nazenin Huseynova, and senior advisor, Rashad Nasibov, delivered speeches at the seminar, and a wide exchange of views was held around the reports.
