A seminar was held at the Shirvan Court of Appeal within the framework of the “2025 Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty”

On June 13, 2025, a seminar was held by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Judicial and Legal Council within the framework of the “2025 Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty” in the administrative building of the Shirvan Court of Appeal.

At the seminar, moderated by Rashad Hasanli, Deputy Head of the Office of the Judicial and Legal Council, Chairman of the Shirvan Court of Appeal Vali Abdullayev gave reports on “Our first national Constitution, authored by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as a political-legal act and historical document”, and Head of the Department of the Academy of Justice, Doctor of Philosophy, Matanat Askerova gave reports on “The Path from Victory to Sovereignty: A New and Powerful Azerbaijan under the Leadership of President Ilham Aliyev”.

During the seminar the Deputy Head of the Department of Organization of Criminal, Administrative and Plenum Affairs of the Supreme Court, Doctor of Philosophy, Vugar Bayramli and the Head of the Civil Cases Judicial Practice Sector of the Judicial Practice Analysis Department of the same court, Ph.D. Nazanin Huseynova also made speeches.

A wide exchange of views was held around the reports.

The event was attended by employees of the Office of the Shirvan Court of Appeal and the courts of first instance under the jurisdiction of the court.
