Announcement from the Selection Committee of Judges

The Selection Committee of Judges continues the transparent and merit-based selection of judicial candidates, with the aim of staffing judicial positions with highly qualified legal professionals.

To ensure efficiency in the selection process and to provide candidates with adequate time for exam preparation, it has been decided to hold the initial stage of the competition — the test examination — on September 21 of this year.

To assist candidates in preparing thoroughly for the exam, a “Candidate Judge’s Handbook” has been published on the official website of the Judicial-Legal Council (www.jlc.gov.az). This handbook includes an annotation of exam questions, examination procedures, the responsibilities of candidates during the exam, and sample test questions.

Further information regarding the issuance of admission slips and other relevant matters will be provided in due course.

Documents are accepted by the Selection Committee of Judges on all working days, including via email at hsk@jlc.gov.az.

Legal professionals aspiring to become judges are invited to submit their applications.
