HELD A MEETING WITH LAW STUDENTS ON THE EVE OF GREAT LEADER HEYDARALIYEV S BIRTHDAY
The 93rd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev s birth is widely celebrated in judicial and justice bodies, on this occasion a series of measures are carried out.
A meeting was held with the students of law faculty of Baku State University in Judicial-Legal Council in order to inform them on unparalleled services of architect and founder of modern legal system of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev in the field of formation the independent judiciary, within these meetings.
Prior to the meeting, students got acquainted with “The Museum of Court History in Azerbaijan” in the Council dedicated to the history of judiciary and the role of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the establishment of modern court system. Meeting participants got acquainted with rare and interesting exhibits in the Museum, photo stands depicting various stages of life and activity of national leader, as well as historical documents. It was brought to their attention that the state policy implemented by exactly Heydar Aliyev in the field of judicial and legal reforms, established the formation of independent judiciary in Azerbaijan and creation of justice system based on democratic principles.
Afterwards, the law students were informed in detail on judicial and legal reforms defined by the national leader Heydar Aliyev and got a wide scope under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev and the successes that achieved in this field and shown as an example in the international level.Information on the activity of Judicial-Legal Council, Judges Selection Committee, judicial and justice bodies, including the creation of modern court infrastructure, application of “e-Court” information system, transparent selection of judges, was met with interest.
As well as, students watched the films dedicated to the life of national leader and activity of the Council in the conference hall of Judicial-Legal Council provided with modern ICTs, informational booklets were introduced to them and their questions were answered.
